About Us

SIU Piano Competition is organized biennially by the Saigon International University (SIU) in collaboration with the Asian International School, both under the Group of Asian International Education (GAIE). The event is expected to be an introduction to classical music for creative and energetic youth, an opportunity for them to network with pianists in the region and around the world, and a playground for the discovery and nurture of talents in classical music, inspiring artistic passion and instilling sense of self-learning and creativity in piano performance.

Welcome to the 2022 SIU Piano Competition, the first season of a piano competition open to everyone around the world!

Eleven prizes worth 1 billion VND await the most talented.

Registration deadline: July 16^th, 2022

The 2022 SIU Piano Competition welcomes all pianists in Vietnam and around the world to deliver their best performances. To qualify for the preliminary round, contestants just need to register, record a video of their performance and submit it to the Organizing Committee as per the guideline provided in Competition Rules.

The Professional Jury consists of prestigious and seasoned experts, artists, researchers, arts managers with multiple contributions to the musical scene, particularly piano performance art.
